Our story
Serenity Keepers Home Care was established in Sumter, South Carolina in 2016 with one question in mind: what would your family do if an accident or illness meant a loved one suddenly needed help at home?
Caring for someone you love takes time, energy and, often, more help than one family can give. We started Serenity Keepers so that families in our community would have a trustworthy partner for that care.
Our mission
To provide the best non-medical home care there is to offer, with honesty, loyalty and loving, compassionate care for everyone we serve.
We build relationships with our clients and their families so they can see the sincerity in our work. We aim to meet and exceed each client’s expectations, and to make life changes feel less overwhelming for everyone involved.
What families can expect
- Trained, screened caregivers. Our caregivers are professionally trained and go through thorough background checks.
- A personal introduction. We introduce ourselves to every client in person before care begins.
- Ongoing supervision. Our managers and supervisors make home visits from time to time to make sure your loved one is receiving the best care and services we can offer.
- Care that fits the budget. We offer competitive private pay rates and also serve Medicaid recipients. We help families put a plan in place and point them to other programs that may help financially.
One big family
At Serenity Keepers, clients, families and caregivers are all part of one family. We treat every caregiver as an important, irreplaceable part of our team, because the way we care for our staff shows in the way they care for you.
